Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. Though the rooms were small, they still had everything we needed, and surprisingly, they were quiet despite the central location. However, the room felt like a prison cell with minimal space, no separation from the toilet, and a window facing a light-well.
The hotel exceeded our expectations with its comfortable and clean rooms, friendly and efficient service, and perfect location for exploring the city. However, the room temperature was uncomfortable on a couple of nights.
The hotel rooms had character and were quiet, albeit a tad small; however, they were very ample and had everything we needed. Though not soundproof, you can hear other guests talking and walking all night. One nice thing about this area is that there aren't as many homeless people after dark.
I was thrilled with my stay at the hotel! The rooms were wonderfully cozy and had an amazing view of the Bay Bridge. The service was top-notch, with staff going out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the historic downtown area. The dining experience at Perry's downstairs was a definite highlight, offering the best steaks in town.
